CodonCode Aligner 8.0.1 released

CodonCode Aligner 8.0.1 was released on March 8, 2018.

CodonCode Aligner version 8 introduces many new features and improvements: clustering and identifying sequences for metagenomics; dotplot comparisons; translation-based alignments with MACSE; new menu items for "Align with Clustal" and "Align with MUSCLE"; a new "Import subset" option to filter by sequence, name, or comment content; and more.

Version 8 requires a new license key. Version 8.0 is a free upgrade for all users with a current update and support agreement as of March 8, 2018. Users upgrading from older versions will require a new license key, which may require the purchase of an upgrade if the support agreement has expired.
