On OS X 10.6 (Leopard), setting the memory for CodonCode Aligner through the "Memory" preferences does not work. This problem was fixed in CodonCode Aligner 3.5.1, and was released in December 2009. Version 3.5.1 will be a free upgrade to all customers who are using CodonCode Aligner version 3.0.
If you are using an older version of CodonCode Aligner, or need to change the memory before the release of version 3.5.1, please follow these instructions:

- Choose "Show Package Contents" from the popup menu. This will open a new window.
- Double-click on the "Contents" folder to open it.

- Locate a line that contains the text
- Code: Select all
-Xms32m -Xmx256M
- Code: Select all
-Xms32m -Xmx512M
