FTP clients for uploading Aligner projects

Postby Peter Richterich » Wed Feb 04, 2009 12:11 pm

If you want to send us files that are too large for email (for example ZIP archives of CodonCode Aligner projects), please contact us, and we will send you instructions how to upload files. Typically, this can be done directly from a web browser, without the need to install any software.

However, there might be cases where you need to use FTP to upload the projects (as ZIP archives) to our ftp server. You will need to use an FTP client program to upload the file. Here are some commonly used free ftp clients:

FileZilla - available for Windows & Mac OS X
If the FileZilla download link does not to work, try one of the FileZilla alternatives below.

WinSCP - Windows only

CyberDuck - Mac OS X only (10.4 and newer)

If you need to get the ftp server address, user name, and password for uploading, please contact us.
